+ The Creation of the League of Nations

The League of Nations was created for a Sole purpose: because country rulers need something to negotiate with other countries so that it could prevent laws.

The League of Nations was really thought by an American President named Frank D. Roosevelt but the U.S.A did not join the League of Nations.

However, the League of Nations was very unsuccessful because they could not stop future wars such as WW2 and really, other countries didn't want to put effort that they didn't need. The league of nations is like a Club that you could join or not but it will cause more Burden or more things to do.


+Discovery of Tutankhamun's Tomb 1922

This discovery helped know more about Egyptian history.
However, this discovery was also a curse, because they said who ever opened the tomb will become cursed.

Howard Carter, the man who discovered this tomb, was killed a few months later because of insect bites while working in the tomb.

+CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) Used Commercially 1922

The CRT Screens were used for the TV and in the future was used for computers. It was a screen that was very useful during that time. It is also used for screens such as radars and guiding systems and even on planes! (the example is an example of only a CRT screen.)

+Irish Free State Gains independence from Great Britain 1922

During a Civil War, Ireland Fights each other due one wanting to be part of Britain and one wanting to be it's own country. Eventually, they distribute a small part of Ireland to the Irish Republic, which belongs to the United Kingdom.

+ Rise of Mussolini

Before Mussolini became dictator he was only a peasant worker. Not only that, he failed trying to become many jobs such as school teaching and being a factory worker. He also actually read about the works of Karl Marx and looking toward communism. Later he became a Journalist in an Italian Newspaper that was a Socialist Newspaper called Avanti.

Later, Mussolini was Conscripted in to the army but got injured in a grenade explosion. 2 years later, he went back to Newspaper working and split with the socialists. He was later called for National discipline and became dictator of Italy because the previous governments were very weak.

Mussolini also had a party called the Facist party. They earned a few seats and later gradually built up and had many seats. About 10 Years later, Hitler also built a type of Facist government by using his Nazi Party.


+ Rise of Stalin

Lenin's health was starting to fail and he his health was going worse. He needed to find someone to lead the country. He chose Trotsky but however, after Lenin's death, Stalin tried to find more popularity with the central committee and succeeded. There was also a document to ensure that Trotsky would not rise to power.

Stalin later Expelled Trotsky and the person who helped him get to his power as a Dictator. Trotsky lived for about 10 years until he was later assassinated by one of Stalin's Agents.

+Mien Kampf Published 1925
The book was written when Hitler was in prison trying to Overthrow the goverment. He was unsucessful in overthrowing and sentenced to 2 years in prison. He wrote this book which means "My Struggle". The book gave Hitler a better reputation and helped him Rise to become a leader of the Nazi party.

+Harry Houdini's Death 1926


Harry Houdini was a magician and was killed due to accepting a offer of being punched in the stomach and his appendix was already ruptured and it was more ruptured. He was a Magician from Hungary and was very talented. His death records say that he died in a dressing room rehersal accident to make it look like it was no problem. He was really known for a Famoust magician.

Liquid Fueled Rocket Invented 1926

The first liquid fueled rocket was invented in 1926 by Robert Goddard. This helped the future later because could be developed into a new form of weapon for the Nuclear bombs too. It was invented in America but wasn't developed till the 1950s.

+First Movie with Integrated Sound 1927

The first Motion Picture that was a movie and had long speaking parts was called the Jazz Singer. It also brought a line to new movies with sound. It was also one of Warner Bros. Trademarks that helped the company rise higher to where it is right now.

Not only that, but at the end of the year, there were many more Movies with Speaking parts and sounds.

+First Talking Disney Movie 1928

The first talking Disney movie was "Steamboat Willie." This was a great add on to the media during that time as now kids could see and hear what the Disney voices really sound like so they didn't have to picture them.











+Wall Street Crash 1929
This was the blow that made this decade a very unhappy ending. For about 8 years, they had many inventions and tools newly used. Now, in just 2 weeks, the Stock markets went down due to many problems. People were out of jobs and buisnesses ran out of money so they had to close down.
